Day 2 – NAIROBI – NANYUKI
Easy drive to Sweetwaters Camp located in the heart of the savanna and dominated by Mount Kenya. Alongside with the camp’s great facilities there is a unique chance to see Jane Godall’s Chimpanzee Reserve as well as Rhino populations decimated by poachers in the 70’s and 80’s.

Day 3 – NAYUKI – SAMBURU
Departure towards Buffalo Spring Reserve and Samburu, where the arid deserted land of Northern Kenya begins. We will be travelling through Kikuyu land, the largest tribe in the country and go round Mount Kenya, home to the God N’gai and second highest peak in Africa. Lunch and accommodation at a wonderful Camp. In the afternoon will go on our first Safari in the game reserve. Night.

Day 4 – SAMBURU
Early departure in the search of animals which together with sunset is the best time to spot them, as they stay under cover during the daytime due to the scorching hot weather. Some species such as the Gerenuk, Oryx, Somali Ostrich or Reticulated Giraffe can just be seen in this park. This makes Samburu one of the most beautiful Reserves in the country. Night.

Day 5 – SAMBURU – NYERI
This trip takes us to Nyeri, heartland of Kikuyu people and coffee land. Kenya is the fourth coffee producer in the world and its coffee is considered one of the best. Our luggage will be picked up at hotel base where lunch will be served and in the afternoon we will be taken to the Tree–top hotel where we will spend the night. We might see the Black Rhino, an endangered species, as well as a great variety of animals which come to the ponds to drink. It was right here on her honeymoon and while staying at the Treetops that Queen Elisabeth learned she was to be Queen of the British Empire, following her father’s death.

Day 6 – NYERI – LAKE NAKURU
From Nyeri, on the foothills of Aberdares, we will be heading towards Lake Nakuru in the heart of the Rift Valley, where we will be staying at a lovely lodge looking on to the lake. Its waters look pink due to the great number of Flamingos that live in its shores and which have made the park world famous.

Day 7 – LAKE NAKURU – LAKE NAIVASHA
Lake Naivasha is one of the most beautiful lakes in Kenya. We will be staying at a wonderful English colonial style hotel and we will take a boat to Crescent island, where we will go on a walking Safari (optional) surrounded by dozens of animals.

Day 8 – LAKE NAIVASHA – MASAI MARA
Departure for Masai Mara, considered by many the best wildlife reserve in the world. Over a million and a half animals, mainly herbivores as well as all sort of predators and scavengers, move freely along its hills and great prairies drawn by their good pastures and abundant water. It is right hear and in the adjoining Serengeti where the magnificent migration of Wildebeests, Zebras and Gazelles takes place every year. We will be staying either at a tented camp or a lodge in the heart of the grassy plains.

Day 9 – MASAI MARA
Safari day. Visit to a Masai Manyatta or a hot-air balloon Safari flight.

Day 10 – MASAI MARA – NAIROBI
Return to Nairobi, which is the political, social and economic hub not only of Kenya but of the whole of Africa. We will be visiting Baroness Karen Blixen’s Museum House, which is located close to the Ngong Hills. We will lunch at the famous Carnivore, a great way to start getting to know this cosmopolitan city. Night.

Day 11 – NAIROBI – AMBOSELI
Departure after breakfast towards Amboseli, which has as its backdrop the towering Kilimanjaro and an almost deserted plain, where surprisingly underwater flows and which provides animals and birds with life. We will be staying at a wonderful lodge built in the same site as Hemingway camped on one of his safaris and where he wrote Snows of Kilimanjaro.

Day 12 – AMBOSELI
Safari in the park enjoying the landscape and animal sightings. Here the Elephant is the ruler. Thanks to the waters from Kilimanjaro there is great abundance of all sort of animals and birds.

Day 13 – AMBOSELI – WEST TSAVO
Departure towards Tsavo through a track which runs along the Tanzanian border and having Kilimanjaro on our side. We will be driving past lots of Masai villages before reaching our Camp located at a lush garden produced by the nearby marsh and which gives life to big Hypo and Crocodile groups.

Day 14 – WEST TSAVO
Through the hugeness of Tsavo we will be searching for animals while we are enjoying the infinite spaces of the Park.
