West Tsavo National Park

The Park is 7,065 square kilometres, smaller than its brother East Tsavo (11,750 square km), and it is located on south eastern Kenya, 240km from Nairobi along the western side of Mombassa -Nairobi highway. The savanna ecosystem comprises open grasslands, scrublands, and Acacia woodlands, belts of riverine vegetation and rocky ridges.

Meru National Park

Meru lies to the east of Mount Kenya and is famous as the place where Elsa, the lioness of Joy Adamson’s book ‘Born Free’, was returned to the wilds. Of all of Kenya’s parks, Meru presents the widest variety of landscapes and habitats.

Malindi Marine National Reserve

Malindi Marine Park and Reserve lie between Lat. 3o and 4o south, about 118 km from Mombassa town. It is located to the south of Malindi town, and it is endowed with magnificent resources such as fringing reefs, coral gardens in the lagoons, sea grass beds, mangroves, mudflats, and high fish diversity, marine mammals (e.g. dolphins), turtles and various species of shorebirds.

Lamu Archipelago

A magical place, Lamu is a historical town with many old buildings, narrow streets and a friendly Arab population. It has long been a trading centre and as far back the 11th Century dhows sailed along the East African coast to Arabia, Persia and India.
