Day 1 – Arrival by bus at East African Suites in Arusha. Briefing on the climb. Dinner and night.
Day 2 – Transfer to the gate of Arusha National Park in Momella. Climb through the forest, crossing Ngare Nanyuki river to Miriakamba Hut at 2,541m (4-5 hours). Night.
Day 3 – Steep climb through clearings and heathers as far as Saddle Hut at 3,570 (2-3 hours). At this point we could take a lateral route to reach Little Meru summit (3,794m) and return to Saddle Hut in about 2 hours. Night.
Day 4 – We set off early to Rhino Point and then climb to the summit at 4,566m in order to witness the sun rise behind Kilimanjaro. We will descend to Momella Gate to get to Mountain Inn where we will stay the night.
Day 5 – Breakfast. Beginning of our safari or return bus to Nairobi to catch the flight back home
