Eleven unforgettable days between Masai Mara, Amboseli National Park and the lakes of the Rift Valley in order to complete a wonderful Safari.

ITINERARY:

Day 1 – FLIGHT TO NAIROBI
We meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Night.

Day 2 – NAIROBI – AMBOSELI
Departure after breakfast towards Amboseli, which has as its backdrop the towering snow-capped Kilimanjaro and an almost deserted plain, where surprisingly underwater flows and which provides animals and birds with life. We will be staying at a wonderful lodge built in the same site as Hemingway camped on one of his safaris and where he wrote Snows of Kilimanjaro.

Day 3 – AMBOSELI
We will be driving through the park searching for animals. Here the Elephant is the ruler, but thanks to the waters from Kilimanjaro there is great abundance of all sort of animals and birds.

Day 4 – AMBOSELI – NAIROBI
Return to Nairobi, which is the political, social and economic hub not only of Kenya but of the whole of Africa. We will lunch at the famous Carnivore restaurant. We might spend the afternoon either visiting the Baroness Karen Blixen’s (Out of Africa) Museum House or the Giraffe Centre. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5 – NAIROBI – LAKE BOGORIA
A day full of surprise. A little while after leaving the busy city, we will go down towards the Rift Valley, where we will be spending the next three days, towards our destination, Lake Bogoria, which is not very frequently visited by tour operators. Its unforgettable environment is made up of breathtaking landscape, Flamingos and Geysers discharging steam and boiling water.

Day 6 – LAKE BOGORIA – LAKE BARINGO
Short trip to Lake Baringo, in the heart of the Rift Valley, where we will be staying at a lovely lodge on the shore of the lake. Lake Baringo is a world famous bird paradise, where BBC, CNN or TVE to name a few come to shoot those wonderful documentaries we later on watch on TV. Its waters are full of Crocodiles and Hypos. An exciting boat trip will enable us to see the incredible Fishing Eagles Fish.

Day 7 – LAKE BARINGO – LAKE NAKURU
After breakfast and once we have crossed the Equator Line we will be heading towards Lake Nakuru, where we will be staying at a lovely lodge looking on to the lake. Its waters look pink due to the great number of Flamingos that live in its shores and which have made the park world famous. Likewise we will spot a wide range of animals including the White Rhino, Lions and Leopards.

Day 8 – LAKE NAKURU – LAKE NAIVASHA
Lake Naivasha is one of the most beautiful lakes in Kenya. We will be staying at a wonderful hotel located on its shore and in the afternoon we will take a boat to Crescent island, where we will go on a walking Safari surrounded by dozens of animals.

Day 9 – LAKE NAIVASHA – MASAI MARA
Departure for Masai Mara, considered by many the best wildlife reserve in the world. Over a million and a half animals, mainly herbivores as well as all sort of predators and scavengers, move freely along its hills and great prairies drawn by their good pastures and abundant water. It is right hear and in the adjoining Serengeti where the great migration of Wildebeests, Zebras and Gazelles takes place every year. We will be staying at a lodge where we will have time to enjoy the great plains – characteristic of Mara- where the film Out Of Africa was shot.

Day 10 – MASAI MARA
Game drive day in search of the Big Five. Visit to a Masai manyatta or a hot-air balloon Safari flight.

Day 11 – MASAI MARA – NAIROBI
After breakfast we will return to Nairobi to catch our plane back to our destination.
